Honestly, it really captured the feel of watching the cartoon and I could hear the vocal talents of Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill in my head as I read the scenes between Batman and the Joker. I was pleasantly surprised to find that not only does this book include a couple of longer linked narrative arcs but that it captures all the depth and gothic sensibilities which made TAS so great.
